2. Never Build a Fire In The Presence Of High Winds
Before building your bonfire, make sure that it isn’t too windy outside. The problem with high amounts of wind around a fire is that they can cause erratic flames. If something which isn’t supposed to be on fire catches on fire, then the wind can help spread it quicker than usual.
Also, the wind could potentially blow debris and nearby greenery such as trees into the flames. As you can see, a lot can go wrong with the help of a little wind.
