It’s an eleven-year-old tradition, but now in the midst of so much uncertainty and a deep need for community support, North Texas Giving Day takes on a whole new meaning.

Communities Foundation of Texas’ 12th annual North Texas Giving Day is back on September 17, 2020. It’s a day designated to support area nonprofits by donating to one or more of the thousands of local charitable organizations online.

On September 17, donations can be made from 6 am to midnight, however, donors can give early this year by visiting anytime between September 1 and September 16.

A community is only as strong as the bodies behind it, and North Texas Giving Day is a testament to the power of one donation at a time making a lasting impact on the whole.

During these unprecedented times, nonprofits and donors are helping more than ever to ensure that our community is strong, surviving, and continuing to thrive.

Be a Super Fan

One way to increase your personal reach during North Texas Giving Day is not only with dollars but with your influence and voice.

You can magnify your impact by setting up a FUNdraising page for a nonprofit you support and sharing it via your personal social media channels. In 2019, “Super Fans” set up more than 2,000 pages for nonprofits, which generated more than $1.7 million. Two-thirds of donors that came through FUNdraising pages were new to North Texas Giving Day.
