How to Take Better Smartphone Pictures: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Frisco Fine Art, hosted by the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco. Talented photographer and VAGF member Suad Bejtovic will be the speaker at the monthly meeting. Open to the public.

City Council Meeting: 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm at City Council Chambers, City Hall. Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval. You can watch City Council meetings live, as well as view videos from past meetings.

Back to Football + Training Camp: 10:30 am at The Star. Dallas Cowboys Training Camp kicks off with an Opening Ceremony and the first of five practices open to the public. Training camp dates include August 20-22 and August 26-27 at The Star in Frisco providing fans the opportunity to see the players and coaches as they prepare for the season.

Mayor’s Business Roundtable: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm at Verona Villa. The Mayor’s quarterly gathering of business and community leaders. Pre-registration required.

Write Club: 6:45 pm – 8:45 pm at Frisco Public Library, 4th Floor, McCallum Room. This local writers group provides critiques, support, and networking opportunities to both published and aspiring authors in all genres of writing. From blogger to novelist, all writers are welcome.
