Philanthropy

17th Annual Mayor’s Golf Classic: An annual event held at Stonebriar Country Club. Golfers of all skill levels are invited to join Frisco Family Services for a beautiful day of golf, food, and fun to help our neighbors in crisis.

Community

City Council Meeting: 6:30 pm at City Council Chambers, City Hall. Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval. You can watch City Council meetings live, as well as view videos from past meetings.


Wednesday, June 19

Community

State of the City Luncheon: 11:15 am – 1:00 pm at Embassy Suites Frisco. Former Mayor Bob Warren, and community servant Sam Roach share stories from the early days in Frisco. City Councilman Will Sowell and Chris Kleinert, CEO of Hunt Consolidated Investments, will weigh in on developments in progress and those yet to come. Tickets selling quickly.

Frisco SAGE Family Night: 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Don’t want to cook on a hot summer night? Join Frisco SAGE at Palio’s Pizza Cafe. Come meet board members and visit with other families who have special needs children. All are welcome!

Lina Rincon Hoover Solo Art Exhibition: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Lincoln Experience Center. Painted dancers come to life before your eyes, merging the visual with the performing arts. Enjoy select drinks and passed hors d’ oeuvres.

Music in the Square: Friday nights, June 7 – June 28 in Frisco Square’s Simpson Plaza. A free event featuring an amazing line-up of talented musicians. ‘MITS’ has quickly become a tradition for not only Frisco residents but visitors from the surrounding cities as well.

Music in the Chamber: 8:00 pm, George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. Each intimate concert will be held in the Council Chambers, a state-of-the-art acoustically designed space by architects involved with NYC’s Radio City Music Hall.

Market at The Star x Fleastyle: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm at The Star in Frisco. This open-air pop-up market will feature a curated mix of fashion, jewelry, home décor, and other unique lifestyle goods’ vendors. Add’l entertainment will include food specials from neighboring restaurants, kid’s activities and more! Entrance and parking free to guests.

Princesses at The Market: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at Frisco Fresh Market. Love Princesses and fairytales? North Texas Performing Arts princesses will be there to take pictures with and to answer any questions you may have about NTPA Frisco productions. It’s going to be magical!

Dev Day – Launch Your Coding Skills to the Next Level: 11:00 am – 4:00 pm at Frisco Public Library. What’s it like to work in a dev shop? How can you get started in AI? What’s trending? Where and how should you develop your inner coder? Open to teens through adults, sessions are arranged by skill level, not age.

1st Annual Marvel vs DC Family Event: 12:00 am – 3:00 pm at Kings Garden Park, hosted by the Evan’s Avengers Foundation. Day includes complimentary yoga from Yoga on Main from 10-11 and music by Patrick Casey. Food available for lunch and entry bracelets sold for kid games.

Frisco Improv Players: 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm at Frisco Discovery Center. An improvisational comedy troupe that specializes in clean, interactive, game-based comedic performances, similar to those seen on the syndicated television show “Whose Line is it Anyway?”

Create Balance℠ with Yoga, Meditation and Art: 9:30 am – 11:00 am at Frisco Fine Art. Join artist and certified yoga instructor Deepa Koshaley for this expressive workshop to unfold your creative self. Through rhythmic movements of yoga and artful meditation, you’ll create unique pieces of art.

Jay Ajayi’s Youth Football Camp: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at Liberty High School in Frisco. This free camp hosted by Frisco ISD Alum and Super Bowl Champion Jay Ajayi will be focused on faith, family, football and fun. Register in advance.
