Monday, May 6

Restaurants

Visit from the Bulleit Frontier Whiskey Woody: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Silver Fox Frisco. Enjoy a visit from the Bulleit Frontier Whiskey Woody. During the visit, Silver Fox will serve Bulleit-inspired hors d’ oeuvres and sell Bulleit Proof cocktails for $2 off, among other drink specials.

Frisco RoughRiders: 7:05 pm at Dr Pepper Ballpark. Frisco RoughRiders vs. Springfield Cardinals. Bonus: Margarita Monday.


Tuesday, May 7

Community

Coffee Talk with District Leaders: 8:00 am at Liberty High School. Frisco ISD parents are invited to share coffee and conversation with the Superintendent of Schools and a member of the School Board. Any parent is welcome to attend to ask questions or share feedback with District leaders. Coffee Talks are held monthly in the library at FISD high schools.

City Council Meeting: 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm at City Council Chambers, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval. You can watch City Council meetings live, as well as view videos from past meetings.

Networking

Ladies Who Launch: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm at Crest Infiniti. The monthly event features 2 special speakers in a panel discussion, moderated by Frisco Arts Executive Director Tammy Meinershagen. Guests will enjoy a gourmet lunch and a light dessert. Seating is limited to 75 ladies, and tickets must be purchased in advance to secure your spot.

Sports

Frisco RoughRiders: 7:05 pm at Dr Pepper Ballpark. Frisco RoughRiders vs. Springfield Cardinals. Bonus: Half-off for Hunger. Bring a canned food item and receive half off admission in select areas.


Wednesday, May 8

Business Networking

Inspire Frisco: 4:30 pm at Inspire Park. (Conversation begins at 5:00 pm.) Featuring Hope Shimabuku, a leader in the Texas region. She currently sits on the Board of Visitors for the University of North Texas Law School and is an honorary member and inaugural member of the Barbara M.G. Lynn IP Inn of Court. Tickets are limited.

iFLY All Abilities Night: 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm. A unique event that makes the dream of flight a reality for those in the special needs community. This program has been custom designed for those with physical and cognitive challenges to create an environment of support and inclusion while focusing on making what seems impossible, possible.

Coffee with the Mayor: 8:00 am – 9:00 am at City Hall, 5th floor, City Room. Have coffee and conversation with the Mayor of Frisco.

150th Transcontinental Railroad Anniversary Watch Party: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Museum of the American Railroad, Frisco Discovery Center. Frisco Rotary Farmer’s Market: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm at 8821 4th Street. Every Saturday from April 20 – October 26 shop farm-fresh produce, meats, eggs, baked goods, preserves, fresh flowers, soap, handcrafted items and more.

Frisco Book Fest: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at City Hall, City Council Chambers. Celebrate local authors and illustrators! You won’t believe the amazing literary talents among us! Events will be located in the 1st Floor Atrium, Council Chambers, and the McCallum Room. Full details at friscolibrary.com.

SafetyPalooza: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Frisco. First responders will be on-site to answer questions and show off many of their tools of the trade. See the Police Dept’s Traffic Unit demonstrate their competitive motorcycle skills, peek inside a CareFlite helicopter, and show and tell with the Frisco Fire Department.

Mommy and Me Barre3 Class: 10:00 am – 10:30 am at Frisco Fresh Market. Join barre3 Frisco for a 30 minute class with your mini-me. They’ll guide you both through fun and energizing barre3 movements followed by a moment of mindfulness.

Entertainment

Frisco Improv Players: 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm at Frisco Discovery Center. FIP is an improvisational comedy troupe based in Frisco, specializing in clean, interactive, game-based comedic performances, similar to those seen on the syndicated television show “Whose Line is it Anyway?”
