Community

City Council Meeting: 6:30 pm, City Council Chamber, George A. Purefoy Municipal Cente. Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval. You can watch City Council meetings live, as well as view videos from past meetings.

Business and Networking

The Miller Lite Cowboys Hour: 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Neighborhood Services at the Omni Frisco Hotel. Free and open to the public, Cowboys players join hosts Brad Sham, Kevin Turner, and Taylor Stern on Monday nights throughout the season.

FISD College Series: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm, FISD Administration Bldg. The Princeton Review — Frisco ISD’s exclusive college prep provider — will discuss the ins and outs of the SAT/ACT and how they play into the college admissions process.

HeartStories: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm at Verona Villa. This GNO is an opportunity to put that holiday frenzy (that’s already threatening your sanity) on the back burner and let it simmer for the night. Learn the calming art of hand lettering as well as simple strategies to tell those anxious thoughts swirling in your head to: Simmer Down.

Artist Showcase – Dallas Jazz Piano Society: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Lincoln Experience Center. A holiday-inspired, dueling piano performance. A festive evening of live music and a selection of sparkling Champagne, wine, and savory passed hors d’oeuvres.

The Drowsy Chaperone: 8:00 pm at Willow Bend Center for the Arts. North Texas Performing Arts – Frisco presents this fun musical within a comedy!


Friday, November 8

Coffee with the Mayor: 8:00 am – 9:00 am, City Hall, 5th Floor. A monthly chance to sit with the Mayor and have a conversation about his vision.

Parents Night Out: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Parents, spend an evening out and Jungle Joe’s will entertain the kids with playtime on the Jungle Structure; Arts and Crafts; Games and Movie Time at the end of the evening.

Saturday, November 9

Frisco Community Parade: 10:00 am, Toyota Stadium. The Frisco Community Parade is held in November to mark Veterans Day and to celebrate community pride. The parade features floats, school marching bands, high school football teams, cheerleaders, scouts, civic organizations, youth sports teams, Frisco-based professional sports teams, and local businesses.

Frisco Fresh Market: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Come out to the Frisco Fresh Market every weekend! There’s always something fun planned for the kids and adults. Browse and shop local, high quality! Free yoga at 11:00 am and don’t miss the fun Pet Adoption event from 10 am – 2 pm!

EA Sports Madden NFL 20 Club Championship: 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm. The Star will host the top two Madden players as they face off in the EA Sports Madden NFL 20 Club Championship!

Health and Fitness

Free Community Yoga Class: 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Dwell Yoga Studio. This donation-based, all-level class will flow through traditional vinyasa and hatha yoga postures. 100% of donations will go to the studio’s charity of the month.
