Monday, September 14

Community

FISD School Board Meeting: 6:30 pm, Frisco ISD Admin Bldg. The Board will immediately go into closed session and resume the open meeting at 7:30 pm for regular business.


Tuesday, September 15

Community

City Council Meeting: 6:30 pm, City Council Chambers, George A. Purefoy Municipal Center. View the agenda. You can attend City Council meetings in-person or watch them live online.


Wednesday, September 16

Community

FISD Virtual College Fair: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, for 11th and 12th grade students and their parents can interact and engage with virtual “booths” as well as access pre-recorded presentations over a variety of college admission topics. When available, participants will also be able to chat or Zoom with college representatives or schedule meetings with them later.

Sports 

FC Dallas: 7:30 pm, Toyota Stadium. FC Dallas vs. Colorado Rapids.


Thursday, September 17

Community

North Texas Giving Day: Hosted by Communities Foundations of Texas, the 12th annual 18-hour online giving extravaganza to benefit local nonprofits and make a difference here at home. It’s a tradition more important than ever.

FISD Special Education Meet and Greet: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. A virtual opportunity to connect with community resources and Sp/Ed services. Join the FISD special education leadership team, the Miracle League of Frisco, Frisco ISD Council of PTAs, Frisco Police Dept, Frisco SAGE, PATH Project, and more.


Friday, September 18

Frisco RoughRiders: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Dr Pepper Ballpark. Summer might be over, but the warm weather isn’t. To help cool you down, the RoughRiders are offering public swim dates in the Lazy River! Make a reservation and purchase tickets.

Arts and Entertainment

Art En Blanc: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at The Gallery8680. Enjoy a variety of art at the “Everything White” exhibition.

Shopping and Services

The Rail District Outdoor Market: 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm. An ongoing open-air marketplace, where local merchants bring their goods and services to the curbs! Businesses range from a variety of salons, gift shops, boutiques, bakeries, restaurants, arts, music and entertainment, and more.

Flea Style Summer Market Series: 10:00 am –  4:00 pm. Join Flea Style and five of their beloved vendors in the Frisco studio space. Enjoy shopping unique handmade, vintage, and one-of-a-kind goods as well as music, free frosé, and more!

The Rail District Outdoor Market: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. An ongoing open-air marketplace, where local merchants bring their goods and services to the curbs! Businesses range from a variety of salons, gift shops, boutiques, bakeries, restaurants, arts, music and entertainment, and more.

Frisco Fresh Market: Saturday, 8 am – 4 pm and Sunday, 10 am – 4 pm. Inspired by the iconic European markets, Frisco Fresh Market features local vendors with a variety of products ranging from seasonal produce to handcrafted items and fantastic homemade foods.

Frisco Rotary Farmer’s Market: Open every Saturday until October, 8:00 am – Noon, weather permitting. Fun, local, farm-grown food, and healthy living products.

Health and Fitness

Hot 26 Posture Clinic: 8:15 am – 9:45 am, Horizon Hot Yoga.  This in-depth and interactive class will go through each posture in the standing Hot 26 series with corrections, demonstrations, common mistakes, and time for questions.

Roll with the Council: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, Northeast Community Park. Take a bike ride with your City of Frisco elected officials at a conversational pace. A combination of on-street and city hike and bike trails.

Frisco Heritage Village Outdoor Guided Tour: 9:00 am. Learn fun facts about Frisco’s origins and stories about the people and industry that formed our city. Space is limited; please make a reservation.
