City Council Meeting: 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm at City Council Chambers, City Hall. Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval. You can watch City Council meetings live, as well as view videos from past meetings.

Pop-Up STEM – Oceanography: 4:30 – 5:30 pm, Children’s Program Room, Frisco Public Library. Learn about oceanography with fun experiments and activities.

The Truth About Vaping – What All Parents Need to Know: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm, FISD Admin Board Room. FISD Parents learn more about the new FISD prevention program, the dangers of vaping, in addition to steps and strategies to help stop your child from vaping.

Classic Readers Book Club: 10:00 am – 11:00 am, Frisco Public Library. A book club open to all seniors ages 50+ interested in fiction and non-fiction.

Frisco Arts’ Happy Hour: 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Dee Lincoln Prime. Meet fellow artists, enthusiasts, leaders, city reps, and stakeholders. Complimentary light appetizers, cash bar. Membership and RSVP required to attend.

Give for Frisco on North Texas Giving Day: An 18-hour online giving event designed to empower every person to give back to their community by supporting local nonprofits and causes they care about in one easy step.

Trail Blazer Press Workshop: 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm at Frisco Public Library, 4th floor, McCallum room. Bring your manuscript in Microsoft Word to this workshop and begin formatting it for printing and binding.

POW/MIA Candlelight Remembrance: 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm at City Hall. Remembering the more than 82,000 Americans still missing and otherwise unaccounted-for, and their families. Guest of Honor Colonel Bernard Leo “Bunny” Talley, Jr., USAF (Retired), a prisoner of war for 2,369 days (6.5 years) during Vietnam War.

Free Community Yoga Class: 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Dwell Yoga Studio. This donation-based, all-level class will flow through traditional vinyasa and hatha yoga postures. 100% of donations will go to the studio’s charity of the month: Team Conner, in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Community

International Day of Peace: 10:00 am, Frisco Commons Park. The Frisco Interfaith Alliance will plant and dedicate a Living Legacy Tree in honor of this day. Local dignitaries and first responders will participate.

Kids and Family

Mother-Son Dance: Moms and sons, this expedition into the Hawaiian Islands is the place to be for dancing and fun! Ages 4-6, 5:30-7 pm and Agers 7-12, 7:30-9 pm.

Crafted Family Night Out: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Moms and Dads, grab the kids for a fun family night out crafting our Medium Planked Signs! These smaller DIY wood signs are perfectly geared toward our younger crafters. Read more about Crafted here.
